wala lang
hey peeps. la lang, just wanted to update here for some reason.
i’ve been sick. just last week. flu. felt like my head wanted to explode, my nose was useless, and i couldn’t eat anything and taste it, to boot. thank GOD i’m all right now, back to my usual self (which means i’m back to being mean, vile-tempered, and outspoken, haha).
i just realized that maybe my life’s been revolving too much around work. then again, i’ve always known that animation would be a very hectic kind of job, it’s just that i thought i’d have some time other than just sundays to myself. news flash people! we’re working on the japanese version of the powerpuff girls. fans of the series can expect a lot of changes (the girls aren’t sisters, and they didn’t exist because of chemical x, for instance). some people will like it, some won’t, on my part i actually do like it (hello, i love anime. di ba obvious? :P) because of the cuteness factor, and because they actually have NOSES and FINGERS. for god’s sake, they look normal. no, i’m not saying that the original series style sucks, i’m just saying that i LOVE these anime versions a helluva lot more. hopefully they release it worldwide, and not just on cartoon network japan. -sob-
there’s talk going around that they will rework and release a newer version of Saint Seiya. OMG, i can just imagine the work that’ll go into the animation. -shudder-
the hair! the hair alone! oh, the humanity! (for those of you who don’t know, the guys in Saint Seiya have hair reminiscent of the guys in Daimos and Voltez V, much longer, too…which means more in-betweening. luckily, it will also mean more pay. hehe)
NICK! if you’re reading, lemme just say i wouldn’t be surprised if one day they reworked sailormoon. yum.
sorry if all i’ve been yakking about is my work. heck, what else is there, di ba? not like i will put down more of my personal life (which is the only thing more boring than tales from toei). if i were to list down some things i want, a wishlist of sorts, i would like:
1) more time for friends
2) a place of my own
3) a bass guitar (so i can finally start learning how to play)
4) a better mp3 player
5) shoes that fit
6) a PSP (not too sure about this though)
7) to move into translation in toei (read comics, translate, get paid, and periodically go to japan. ooh-la-la.)
and that’s it. no, no cars yet. gas is expensive. there’s something about commuting that helps me stay fit. gee, i’m not too sure, but i think it’s all the walking. >:P anyway, see ya when i see ya.
